Huawei Unveils WATCH FIT 4 Series in Australia with Premium Design and Outdoor-Focused Features

by Alice

Huawei has officially launched its new WATCH FIT 4 Series in the Australian market, introducing premium features and advanced sports tracking tailored for outdoor enthusiasts. The lineup includes the high-end WATCH FIT 4 Pro and the more budget-friendly WATCH FIT 4, both designed for active users who seek both functionality and style in a smartwatch.

The WATCH FIT 4 Pro stands out with a titanium alloy bezel, aluminium body, and sapphire glass display, typically found on higher-priced models. Its large 1.82-inch AMOLED screen now boasts a peak brightness of 3,000 nits—three times brighter than its predecessor—making it easy to read in bright sunlight, ideal for Australia’s outdoor environment.

Despite the enhancements, Huawei has made the Pro model thinner and lighter for improved all-day comfort. The Pro is available in Black and Blue with Fluoroelastomer straps, while the Green edition comes with a quick-drying woven nylon strap, making it well-suited for high-intensity or humid conditions.

One highlight for golf lovers is free access to over 15,000 golf course maps worldwide, including 1,350 Australian courses. The watch offers real-time data on wind speed, direction, and distances, giving players functional insights to improve performance.

Another standout feature is support for free-diving up to 40 metres, with built-in real-time safety alerts and insights—targeting divers seeking a compact, reliable tool.

For hikers and trail runners, the WATCH FIT 4 Pro introduces offline contour maps and GPS tracking accuracy improved by 30%, according to Huawei. These updates make the watch more useful in remote or mountainous terrain.

Huawei claims a 10-day battery life for the WATCH FIT 4 Pro, which adds practicality for long treks and travel. Based on past models, Huawei’s battery estimates are usually reliable, making this a strong point for users who prefer fewer charging interruptions.

Health tracking is another major focus. The new HUAWEI TruSense System offers advanced metrics such as heart rate monitoring, SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation), and sleep analysis. Huawei has also improved its Menstrual Cycle Management, helping users monitor hormonal trends and detect irregularities more effectively.

The standard WATCH FIT 4, priced from A$299, inherits many of the premium features while staying more affordable. It includes water sports tracking for activities such as paddle boarding, surfing, canoeing, and rowing, a perfect match for Australia’s water-loving population.

Additionally, Barometric Tracking has been added to the standard model, allowing users to monitor elevation changes in real-time, making it a compelling option for hikers without needing to upgrade to the Pro version.

Both the WATCH FIT 4 and WATCH FIT 4 Pro are compatible with Android and iOS devices, ensuring accessibility for a broad range of users. The devices will be available in Australia starting May 28, with pre-orders opening on May 16. Huawei is offering a bonus A$100 gift card for early buyers, further enhancing the value at launch.

With these upgrades and outdoor-oriented features, Huawei’s WATCH FIT 4 Series aims to deliver a compelling blend of design, performance, and practicality to meet the demands of Australia’s active lifestyle.
