The 82nd edition of the Cycling Tour of Albania, which began on May 26 and is structured in five stages, continues today with its third stage covering parts of Elbasan and Vlora.
In light of the ongoing race, local police have issued a public notice outlining specific road closures and traffic restrictions to ensure the safety of participants and spectators. Residents and commuters are advised to avoid the following areas during the listed time slots:
THIRD STAGE – DATE: May 28, 2025
Elbasan Castle to Flower Road – Bradashesh: Closed from 11:30 AM to 12:10 PM
Bradashesh Street to Çerrik Bridge: Closed from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM
Çerrik Bridge to Belsh Turn: Closed from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM
Belsh Turn to Kuçovë: Closed from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM
Kuçovë to Poshnje Street: Closed from 1:10 PM to 1:30 PM
Poshnje Street to Saver: Closed from 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM
Saver to Fier Street (VIVA Overpass): Closed from 2:10 PM to 2:40 PM
Fier Ring Road to Levan: Closed from 2:15 PM to 3:20 PM
Levan to Vlora Highway: Closed from 3:00 PM to 3:50 PM
Pusi i Mezini, New Street Area to The Clock: Closed from 3:35 PM to 4:00 PM
Drivers and pedestrians are strongly encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during the event. Authorities thank the public for their cooperation and support in ensuring a safe and successful cycling tour.
