Celebrating over 55 years of connecting travelers with nature, Thousand Trails has kicked off its annual summer campaign, #100DaysofCamping. This long-running tradition, which began in 2015, officially starts on Memorial Day weekend and invites campers across the country to embrace the summer season by spending time outdoors and creating memorable camping experiences.
The campaign highlights the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day as the core “100 Days of Camping,” encouraging guests to explore Thousand Trails campgrounds nationwide. Participants are invited to join the movement by sharing their camping photos on Instagram using the hashtag #100DaysofCamping or by uploading images to the dedicated 100DaysofCamping website.
With roughly 100 days to enjoy between these popular summer holidays, Thousand Trails encourages campers to commit to making every camping moment count and to discover their “happy place” through outdoor adventures. The campaign fosters a sense of community among outdoor enthusiasts while promoting the joys of camping.
Each photo shared or submitted offers participants a chance to win a grand prize package valued at approximately $2,325. The prize includes popular camping gear such as a Coleman dinnerware set, a Solo Stove bonfire, a GCI Kickback rocker chair, a Rumpl camping blanket, and branded Thousand Trails items like a Yeti mug and belt bag. Winners also receive a complimentary Five Region Thousand Trails Camping Pass with The Trails Collection.
Pat Zamora, spokesperson for Thousand Trails, noted that while their campgrounds host events year-round, the #100DaysofCamping campaign adds extra excitement during the summer months. Zamora said, “By creating meaningful experiences and inspiring guests to make their camping moments count, we’re helping make this camping season and these next 100 days truly memorable.”
