Baptist Park opens its 92nd summer season with camps for all ages, special events, a unique aviation program, and family-friendly celebrations and worship.
Registration Open for Baptist Park’s 92nd Season
Baptist Park has opened registration for its 92nd year of Christian camping and summer activities. The park is welcoming youth, families, and adults for a season filled with learning, fun, and faith.
Programs for Kids of All Ages
The camp’s largest programs are its day and overnight camps. Day camps are divided into two age groups: Puddle Jumpers for ages 4–6 and Growing Up Adventures for ages 6–8.
Overnight camps offer weeklong experiences for three groups: Mountain Climbers (ages 9–11), Maxed Out Adventure (ages 11–14), and Outdoor Adventure (ages 13–18). Each group will enjoy outdoor activities in a faith-centered setting.
Bike Clinics and Special Events
Each Monday, Baptist Park will offer bike tune-up clinics by appointment. These clinics help repair bicycles and teach kids how to take care of them.
A Fourth of July celebration will welcome families for swimming, camping fun, a 4 p.m. barbecue, 6 p.m. praise and worship, and 9 p.m. fireworks.
Worship Services and Christian Life Conference
Sunday evening worship services will be held every week in July, focusing on the miracles of Jesus.
On Saturday, July 26, a Christian Life Conference will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., centered on the theme of influence.
Flight Camp Offers Hands-On Aviation Experience
One of the most unique programs is Flight Camp for youth ages 14–18. This Christian-based aviation camp teaches the basics of flight. Campers will take real flights and hear from guest speakers about careers in aviation.
Devotions with Painting and Fellowship
Two special evening events at Baptist Park will feature dinner, devotions, and painting. The first, on July 25, is for ladies. The second, on July 29, is open to all.
Labor Day Family Retreat Returns
This year, Baptist Park brings back its popular Labor Day Family Retreat. It begins the evening of Friday, August 29, and continues through Monday, September 1. Families are invited to relax, reconnect, and enjoy time together before the school year begins.
