After a successful debut in 2024, the New Heights Festival in Gloucestershire is set to return even bigger this summer. Organizers have confirmed that the popular event, held in Newent, will now span two full days of live music, food, and family entertainment, with camping options introduced for the first time.
What began as a one-day event created by six music-loving friends in 2024 has grown into a full weekend experience. Last year’s festival featured live bands, a silent disco, a bar, and a variety of high-quality food trucks, drawing in crowds despite unfavorable weather conditions.
The 2025 edition will take place on Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19. Festivities will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday and continue until midnight, with Saturday’s program starting at midday and also wrapping up at midnight.
Festival co-organizer Paul Mason, 36, from Newent, shared his excitement about the event’s expansion:
“We’re excited to share that New Heights Festival is back for 2025, and it’s shaping up to be even bigger and better than our debut last year. Despite the weather not being on our side in 2024, the turnout was amazing and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive – we couldn’t have asked for a better first event.”
Building on that momentum, the organizers have added new features and enhancements to improve the overall experience. Among the biggest changes is the introduction of camping, allowing festivalgoers to immerse themselves in the full weekend atmosphere without needing to travel home each night.
Saturday will also include a dedicated DJ Tent, offering an energetic mix of music throughout the day. The silent disco, a favorite from 2024, is also making a return on Saturday evening.
In addition to music, the festival promises a wide selection of food vendors, market stalls, and activities for children, making it a suitable event for all ages. A shuttle bus service will again run from Newent Town to the festival site, with return tickets priced at just £6 to ensure easy access for locals and visitors alike.
Paul added:

To make the event more accessible for families, the team has launched new discount tiers and introduced a Family Package, helping attendees save on ticket costs. Although the earlier discounted ticket phases have ended, General Sale tickets are now available via the official festival website.
With added features, improved logistics, and an expanded schedule, New Heights Festival 2025 aims to deliver an unforgettable weekend for music lovers, families, and festival fans across the region.
